Franklin Country Club is a private golf course that is steeped in tradition throughout the club’s 111 year history. What was once home to the Wampanoag Indians in the 1600’s is now the home of a state of the art Clubhouse and a Championship golf course. Along the way, the club was founded in 1899, prospered in the Roaring Twenties, suffered through the Great Depression, WWI, WW II and Vietnam, enj

We have our final four at Franklin!

Three Xaverian H.S. golfers, Thomas Constantine (Franklin Country Club), Michael McCormack (Sacconnesset Golf Club), and Christopher Morrow (The Milton-Hoosic Club) have advanced to the semifinals of the 107th Massachusetts Junior Amateur.

They’ll be joined by Aarav Lavu (Nehoiden Golf Club), the 2022 Mass Young Golfers’ Amateur Champion and the lone remaining past Mass Golf winner.

Thursday's semifinals matchups
8:00 AM – Morrow vs. Lavu
8:10 AM – Constantine vs. McCormack
(Final match to follow in the afternoon.)

Congratulations to Brian Higgins (Franklin Country Club), a two-time Massachusetts Mid-Amateur winner (2008 & 2009), is among the new crop of senior players who are 50 this year. With a birdie on the par-3 13th, Higgins was able to get above the playoff line for the final spot with a score of 74.
