Venango Symphony Orchestra

Venango Symphony Orchestra The Venango Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization & is an Associate member of the National & Pennsylvania Federations of Music Clubs.

Conductor is Terri Wittreich. Concerts are held twice a year in the Barrow-Civic Theater, in the Spring and in the Fall with approximately 10 rehearsals held prior to each concert in Franklin City Hall. Currently there are 44 members of the orchestra. Interested musicians should private message us. As a non-profit organization, any parties interested in donating to allow this cultural experience to continue, please private message us.

Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m. you are invited to join the Venango Symphony Orchestra in celebrating our nation's 250th anniversary. American composers such as Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, George M. Cohan, Marvin Hamlisch, Morton Gould, FW Meacham are on our program. If you want to hear American In Paris or Fanfare for the Common Man or selections from A Chorus Line or American Patrol, the symphony has you covered. The concert is free! Donations will be accepted, however. Come to the beautiful Barrow Civic Theater in downtown Franklin, PA, relax, and let us help you kick off this year long celebration!

Please enter the museum through the rear door. Do not park in the gravel parking lot - it is a private lot.

Please contact Terri if you will not be able to perform the concert and if you will be missing any rehearsals.

$10 dues are due to George Wilbur as soon as possible.

Rehearsal this Saturday, February 15th is canceled due to hazardous travel conditions.
Saturday February 22 will be a FULL rehearsal, NOT a Strings only rehearsal.
Also, we will be on the second floor of DeBence on the 22nd.
