Looking back at Hope & John’s beautiful autumn celebration reminds me why I fell in love with wedding photography in the first place. One of my favorite parts of being a photographer isn’t just delivering beautiful images… it’s seeing the reactions when my clients get to relive those moments. 🥹🤍

🌻 The sunflower minis I wait for all year… 🌻

For the past 6 years, I’ve photographed Miriah and her son, Matthew, in the sunflower fields. Same place (for the most part LOL). Same golden light. Different version of their story every single year (minus 2022 when they moved to FL 😢).

Every time I go back, I’m reminded how quickly life changes… how kids grow, how seasons shift, and how important it is to pause and capture the in-between moments before they’re gone. Let’s do it, year 7!!
