As many of you know, beside being your family florist, I was elected to be one of your Frankfort Fire Protection District Trustees this past April for a 6-year term. I am very proud to be working to keep all of us as safe as possible. We were invited by the Frankfort Historical Society this year at the Firehouse on Nebraska to join the Christmas Housewalk. Flower Cottage was proud to donate planters, garlands and decorations to make the Frankfort Firefighters Museum and the 9-11 memorial beautiful for the holidays. You’ve all been so kind to donate vases, and other ways that we find ways to also give back to the community. This year besides the Lincoln Way Marching Band, and some families in serious need we decided to do this for our Fire District. Many of you do not know the serious financial concerns the Fire District is facing. I am co-chair of a committee that is looking into solutions for this serious matter. I invite you to come into the shop to talk about this. I wish all of you a joyous Thanksgiving. Please come see the fire museum during the holidays!

As the sun shined through the windows, we set up SOUTHERN CHARM wedding venue today here in south Frankfort Transitional tones and florals were used for this week before Thanksgiving wedding. The bride requested warm candles throughout the venue and natural elements in the florals. Congratulations to our bride and groom!

Had to share this photo from last night. The Northern Lights were bright over Frankfort for the first time in my life!!!God was sending his love to all of us. They say we might see it again tonight in the northeast sky. Keep your eyes open! It sure was breathtaking! 🩷
