There are some weddings that stay with you long after you’ve packed up your camera.
I had the honor of photographing the wedding of a couple I’ve had the privilege of photographing for years. Watching their story unfold through my lens from high school prom, to track meets to senior photos to engagements, from one season of life to the next, and then standing there as they promised forever to each other was incredibly meaningful.
Their love wasn’t just something you could see, it was something you could feel. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and loved every person in that room made it clear that this was so much more than a wedding day. It was the celebration of a relationship built on genuine friendship, joy, and unwavering love.
And can we talk about that reception? I honestly don’t remember the last time I laughed that hard at a wedding (mostly at my son on the dance floor 😳). From the speeches to the dance floor, every moment was full of personality, fun, and the kind of memories that remind me why I love what I do.
Thank you for trusting me to document another chapter of your story. It has truly been an honor to watch your journey unfold, and I couldn’t be happier for you both. ❤️
