I can't say enough how blessed I am! Meeting this couple and planning their wedding in the middle of winter just warmed my soul. The family and guests attending the wedding were absolutely wonderful to work with. I can't wait to see the wedding photos! Gina - as always - amazing!

Some of you may have heard - some may be surprised. In February (that freezing, windy, miserable month), the Manor suffered a broken water pipe which caused substantial damage. Water ran from the top floor (that beautiful blue bathroom with the clawfoot tub) down to the basement - destroying everything in it's path and filling the basement with 2 feet of water! Of course it happened during "down time" for the venue. Of course, no one was in the Manor for 2 - 4 weeks, so we have no idea how long it was running, but it definitely did some major damage.

Just a note, Erie Insurance (Gallina Agency in Rensselaer) has been amazing to work with. They had a company out the very next morning to start cleaning up the mess.

While we still have a few decorating finishes to complete, I wanted to share a few before and after photos. It's been a long stretch, trying to run the business and make the repairs needed. It took a while to wrap our heads around it and dig in, but after Service Master tore things out (and I made up my mind on what I wanted the new kitchen to look like) - David and Gage have done an amazing job rebuilding it and taking the decor back to a simpler time in life.

To me - the Manor has always symbolized a more relaxed time. A time when life was slower, calmer, and families enjoyed more time together.

It's wedding booking season! We will be at the 2025 Lafayette Bridal Show on Sunday, January 12, and the Northwest Indiana Bridal Expo on January 19!

With 3 different banquet halls on site, Meadow Springs can host your wedding for any size up to 500! We have the convenience of catering and decor available on site - and also have the option of bringing in your own caterer and doing your own decor. Set up of tables and chairs, as well as tear down - is always included in the venue rental package you choose!

Call for a no pressure - no stress tour and have the best opportunity for the dates still available for 2025 (and now booking for 2026.) A few tour spots are still available for Saturday, January 11.

Never give up on your dreams!

A huge thank you to the Pulaski County Community Development Commission for believing in me. When Gary mentioned building a venue, every ounce of me knew that this was a good business venture. We had been traveling to venues, catering and decorating, and loving what we were doing. It was a lot of work! Packing, hauling, unloading, setting up, tearing down, packing back up, reloading, hauling home, unpacking... to start all over again for the next week. We talked, dreamed, looked for a location, found a location that Gary thought was perfect, and started the process. During the next few years, I prayed the Prayer of Jabez a lot.

When I stood in front of that committee over 10 years ago, I put my business plan on the table, and my faith in God that if it was meant to be, they would be my first Yes. Had I already been I told no by some lenders? Absolutely! Did I keep planning? Absolutely! Did I take a HUGE LEAP OF FAITH? Absolutely! Am I glad I stayed so determined and persistent - even through all the difficulty getting here? Absolutely! ( Well - Most days anyway! lol - I'm still loving it - although I do get tired somedays... but it's a thankful and blessed tired.)

The Revolving Loan Program is a great program to help local businesses build, grow, and succeed. Having this portion of the overall business loan paid off has really lifted my heart and helped me see the success of this business in another light. Meadow Springs continues to grow and bring more guests to see that Pulaski County has so much to offer.

YES! Meadow Springs does Micro Weddings! Ceremony, Reception, and even The Manor! This wedding was one of the best.... so personal, so intimate.... and such a great family to work with. Rebecca Rose Johnson Photography did an amazing job!
