Found a new bug in the garden today I had no idea was even in our area! This is a Lightning Bug 💡 and apparently a friend for the garden as they enjoy grubs for food. Sadly this species are slowly becoming extinct 😞 Have you found anyone who resembles this in your yard? Hopefully my little flower garden can create more of these magical bugs! I’ll be searching for them for sure!

Roses are really putting on a show this spring! I was late to pruning all of them and they have exploded with blooms! I trimmed 3 David Austin bushes back yesterday and did a large deadhead to push for more blooms! The fragrance is a soft/sweet and brings memories of my grandmas garden when I was little!

Happy Spring! Tulips are here and I have beautiful bouquets to fill your home for the Easter weekend! I will be parked at my favorite little island spot this Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday morning 💐 Just as you come onto Fox Island there is a small public boat launch on the right and you will see my little blue bus and all the flowers 🌷👏🏻

One of our family traditions is to decorate our classic VW’s and join the This has become a labor of love and makes me feel the spirit of Christmas seeing children and families waving and cheering for the lights and cars as we cruz the Harbor ❤️🎄 We removed the flower portion and canopy of my little to make room for a 9’ Santa 🎅 and lots and lots of strands of lights! Honks, waves, cheers and a to all ❤️🥰

This week I’m visiting Bozeman, MT for our daughter’s orientation! Here are few photos of local flowers and such that draw me in 🥰 Historic homes with white peony hedges, yarrow and catmint rows, pollinator artwork and of course a sweet new kitty friend! It’s fun to see what types of plants do well in this growing zone. I’ve seen heat loving cacti and garden flowers galore. I love this state 💐❤️
