What a magical time it was at the Four Oaks Christmas Parade on my sweet little corner of Main St! 🎄✨ The holiday spirit was truly alive and well. There's something truly magical about witnessing a child's first year of life unfold through the lens of a camera. 🌟 From those tiny newborn snuggles to the first adorable toothy grin, every milestone is a precious moment frozen in time.

It may be a terribly grainy night time cell photo photo, but to me it is a beautiful reminder from last month when my family returned from an unforgettable spring break trip to Washington DC. I am still overcome with emotion from our visit to the World War II Memorial. As we approached, the sight of the 56 pillars surrounding the central fountain it was awe-inspiring. It's impossible not to feel the weight of history and the sacrifices made by so many who served, supported, and gave their lives during that pivotal time. Standing in the heart of the National Mall, this memorial is a poignant reminder of the bravery, sacrifice and dedication of our military heroes.

Today, Memorial Day, let's take a moment to honor and remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.
