Fostoria Junior Athletic Association (FJAA) baseball and softball families: your player’s Team Picture Day is coming!

Picture Day is Sunday, April 26th for all teams including Pony League.

Forms have been distributed by coaches and each team has been assigned a time slot by the league. Be sure to set a reminder so you don’t miss your team photo 📸

Good morning!

Quick update: If you are currently scheduled for an upcoming photoshoot, everything is still moving forward as planned.

Due to the recent weather in Northwest Ohio, my studio unfortunately experienced flooding for the second time in a few years, with over a foot of standing water. While the space is now undergoing professional cleaning and restoration, I want to prioritize the health and safety of my clients.

As a precaution, I am removing any props and equipment that may have been compromised, including all soft materials that could have been exposed to moisture, mold, or airborne particles.

For upcoming sessions, please plan to bring any personal “soft” items (blankets, stuffed animals, etc.) you would like included in your photos until further notice.

As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you so much for your continued support and for trusting me to capture your special moments!

The laughs started and then we just couldn't stop! Just a little booking for some for a fellow horn player and good friend! to the other customers this weekend, but I definitely saw several laughing just as much fun as we were!

I had someone ask me today about average prices about shooting a wedding.

Without blinking I told them $1400.

What?! Omg?!

8-10 hours of physical labor, 6-8 hours of editing equates to about $17/hour

So yeah.

I’m excited to announce the MBP Mom Market, a small celebration to mark 10 years of Maddie Bowling Photography! Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of photographing so many families and moms who have become more like friends — so this event is my way of saying thank you and giving back a little.

The MBP Mom Market will take place at my downtown Fostoria studio:

The idea behind the “Mom Market” is simple — to bring together some of my favorite local women-owned businesses and give my clients (especially my mommas!) a fun afternoon to shop, snack, and celebrate community.

Here’s who will be joining us so far:

Clark Gets Crafty – embroidery and custom apparel

Norwex with Windy Elchert – eco-friendly home products

Renee Reinhart – sweet treats and custom cookies

Stick It Babe Mobile Craft Parties – permanent jewelry, charm bracelets, hair tinsel, and a charcuterie board for everyone to enjoy

I will also have a raffle event! If anyone would like to donate to the raffle, proceeds will go to my business (stocking up on new props and equipment to continue capturing your families!)

I’m looking to add a couple more vendors who offer something different from the ones listed above. If you have a fun small business and would like to set up, please send me a message!

This will be a relaxed, come-and-go event — perfect for a little holiday shopping, connecting with local makers, and helping me celebrate ten years of doing what I love most. 💛
