Bedroom makeover for a 10 year old girl getting her own room! The space is filled with things she already loved, repainted furniture and freshly painted walls. The entire room cost less than $200 including the bed frame, homemade desk and refinished/found side table and dresser. It doesn't have to break the bank to make a space kiddos are inspired by and want to spend time!

Thought I'd share an area of my new home...this bookshelf was salvaged from an old reno... It's prob one of the most used furniture pieces in our home. The shelves are filled with memory pieces (see the copper pig from my grandma, the globe we use to mark Santa's route on Christmas Eve every year and the bible belonged to my mother in law as a child) a few of my books, our music collection (basket of records, cds) the baskets at the bottom are filled with family games) This piece is functional display and storage all in one!!!

Anybody else still use a planner?? I LOVE keeping a planner and probably couldn't function without one. So excited the Amazon guy dropped off my newest edition this morning! Help me fill it up!!
