Who’s ready for a Crawfish Boil?!? We are bringing in LIVE RED CALI CRAWFISH from the Sacramento Delta!

Louisiana crawfish season typically runs January-July, while California season runs July-October. And very commonly in California, we see the Signal Crawfish, which just isn’t quite as tasty as the Reds. So we are very excited for this boil!

The cliche saying is absolutely true, it really does a take village. Yes, it takes a long time to find and build that village, but man do they show up for you! Ellyit and her family are a part of our village. So when we said Ellyit, and her best friend Jilly, needed our help, you all flocked (no chicken pun intended 🤣). This community sure knows how to show up for each other, and I couldn’t be prouder.

We managed to fry up 450 lbs of chicken in only three hours! There was chaos, there was laughter, and there were tears mid service thinking about Ellyit and the battle she’s going through. Fat Anne’s fried chicken tenders are one of her favorites, and I can’t wait to make them for her again soon! 💜

Wow! The support that this community has shown for these girls has been amazing! We are now closing orders, due to the quantity of orders that haven’t stopped coming. We have 450 lbs of chicken to fry up tomorrow, can you believe that?!?

Please, please, please keep in mind this is not like picking up a normal takeout order at a restaurant. This fundraiser was thought of by the friends of Ellyit and Jilly, who along with Ellyit’s brothers, are volunteering and working to make this happen. Please be patient, as there may be wait times due to the sheer volume of orders.

Throwback to our Fat Anne’s Fried Chicken Float, winner of the “Most Comical” in the 2024 Fortuna Rodeo Parade!

If you’re craving some Fat Anne’s Fried Chicken, good news for you!!! AND it’s a fundraiser for a GREAT cause! Win win! 🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗 100% of proceeds go to the families of Ellyit (who is one of our own, a Fat Anne’s team member) and Jilly. These girls were in a terrible accident on July 14, and are facing long, unknown roads ahead as they fight to recover. We want to help alleviate the expenses these families are facing.

We are offering our buckets of chicken (family style with sides or just the bucket), available to pick up Wednesday, 7/23. Swipe to the last photo for all the details on this event and how to order.

We are doing a Fried Chicken Fundraiser to help the families of Ellyit and Jilly.

Preorders are HIGHLY recommended. Text 707-834-6535 to order, and please include the time you’d like to pick up, if possible. This helps us to organize and make sure you have hot fried chicken ready for you!
