Every grandmillennial’s living room has a rug like this one, we just put it on a dance floor. Hannah and Clayton’s reception dance floor was a custom vinyl, drawn to replicate a vintage rug pattern, and it became the anchor for the whole room. They wanted their wedding to feel like home the moment guests walked in, so we pulled the blues and blush tones already woven through the florals and linens into a pattern that felt collected rather than brand new, the kind of rug you’d expect to find under a well-loved sofa, not rented for a night. Paired with the hanging garden overhead and that oak-beamed barn, the room felt warm before a single guest sat down.
