HELP WANTED | TEMPORARY OCTOBER POSITIONS
J&R Event Rentals is looking for dependable extra help during our busy October event season.
We are currently hiring for:
TEMPORARY EVENT LABOR
* Tent setup and takedown
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Setting up tables, chairs, dance floors and other rental equipment
* Lifting and moving heavy items
* Working on ladders
* Assisting with event installations and breakdowns
TEMPORARY DECOR / LINEN SPECIALIST
* Tent draping and event décor setup
* Setting up tables and chairs
* Installing table linens
* Preparing, folding and organizing linens
* Assisting with wedding and event décor
* Helping prepare rental orders for upcoming events
PAY
Starting at $20/hour
5-hour minimum | $100 minimum per workday
Some event days may require longer shifts or extended hours, so applicants must be willing and available to work until the job is complete when needed.
EXPERIENCE
No event rental experience required. We can train the right person.
Previous experience in event rentals, construction, moving, warehouse work, landscaping or other physical labor is a plus.
For Decor / Linen applicants, experience with weddings, event decorating, draping, linens, hospitality or venue setup is also a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
* Valid photo ID
* Reliable transportation
* Dependable and able to arrive on time
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical work environment
* Able to lift and move rental equipment safely
ADDITIONAL PLUS
Experience driving a box truck or pulling a truck and trailer is a plus.
POSSIBILITY FOR FULL-TIME WORK
These are temporary positions for our busy October season, with the possibility of full-time employment for strong candidates who are a good fit for our team.
