Today we are sharing the love story between our Emerald Bride, Emerald & her now husband Dylan. 🧡
How he proposed was just too sweet to not share... 🥹
"Dylan flew me to Seattle (my favorite city) with surprise tickets to Beetlejuice on Broadway (my favorite musical) in 2024. He'd taken me in 2023 to Seattle for my birthday as well but didn't propose (after 6 years!) so I wasn't expecting anything that year either. A couple of days before our flight back to DFW, he asked if I'd like to hike to Snoqualmie Falls and see the trail and waterfall there. I said sure, put on my ugly rain coat, slapped my hair in a ponytail, and proceeded to hike for an hour in the rain. Once we hit the falls, he waited for privacy (it's a tourist area so there was exactly none) and after about 30 minutes I practically dragged him away. We walked a little ways until he spotted a secluded beach, walked me over there, and dropped down on one knee. Waterfalls are now my favorite thing."
