What happens when your wedding is over?
I am sure tons of Bride's have this like well.. now what.. feeling and believe me that is NORMAL.

There is soooo much time, research, planning, and organizing when it comes to wedding planning that when it is over it can feel like this sense of relief but then also tons of unknowns.

This is the next chapter of your life and you've only read a few pages. So as much you want to know what happens next you have to just breathe and know that everything will work out the way it is supposed to.

Then in a few weeks, maybe months you will be going on your honey moon, receiving your wedding pictures, maybe your video, going through wedding gifts, writing thank you cards and it just reminds you of how special your wedding day really was.

So just remember even when your wedding day is over and it seems like there isn't anything to look forward to.. just remember you will get to cherish these memories for a lifetime!

Today we are celebrating our Emerald Bride, Kiley 🩵

Kiley had reached out to us about getting a few dresses for her to try on and we were able to get some allure modest on loaner just for her!!! 🥰

Kiley came in and fell in love with her gown that had hints of sparkle, tulle and flowers! Such romantic, whimsical vibe. ✨

Kiley’s advice for future brides:

“I would say even though you obviously are looking forward to your wedding day, and can't wait for it to finally come, try to enjoy the time you have right now, with your fiance, family, and friends. These are priceless days you will look back on, try not to miss out because you are so laser focused on the wedding! And don't worry about trying to make your wedding day perfect, because it won't be. Focus on what really matters, which is you and your fiance being joined in marriage, and the rest in light of that hardly matters. Just make sure you cherish the day and make lots of great memories, and take it all in because it will go by so fast!”

This is SUCH good advice, remember time flies and when your wedding day comes around you will blink and it’ll be over! 🩷

Let's talk about something that isn't really fun for everybody...

Budgeting.

Budgeting for your dress can seem impossible, especially when you have no idea what you are wanting or what you will fall in love with.

First thing when it comes to budgeting is to do your research and do it heavily! Every boutique should have a range of what their dresses come in. For example, everything with us is $3,500 and under!

Secondly, take alterations into consideration. You don't want to forget about those!!! Plus if you over budget.. there is nothing wrong with that. Use the extra money for some food, booze, cake, ANYTHING else!

Third... communicate with whoever is paying for your gown (if someone else is). Don't ever wait until it comes down to saying yes.. because if you fall in love with something that is way more than mom, dad, grandma, partner who ever is paying.. that can feel like whiplash if they aren't prepared to drop thousands of dollars.

Fourth and most important.. start saving early, do research early, start planning early! You don't want to wait last minute and then be screwed if you fall in love with a dress over budget.

Choosing your entourage to bring to your Bridal appointments can see overwhelming.

One of the most important things is to choose the people that will support any decisions you make. Whether that decision is saying yes at your first appointment, or even if you fell in love with a different dress than you were visioning.

The people you want to bring with you... would you take advice from them? Will they be there to hype you up? Would they be there for when the emotions take over? If any of those answers are no.. then, well... you know.

Even if you have a huge bridal party, you don't have to bring them all. You can find other ways to include them such as bringing them to your dress pickup appointment or even doing a first look with them!

Whether you have 1 person or 6 people... as long as they support you and are genuine that is all that matters!

Remember don't feel any sort of obligation to bring certain people! But if you feel like you need to come alone, don't worry we will be there to support you 100%!

We all have days where we don't love ourselves. Even the most confident person in the world, still has days where they don't feel their best. THAT is what makes us human.

Our body is used for so many other things besides looks. Our body takes care of us when we are feeling sick, lets us know when we are hungry, warns us about something that could put us in danger.

Our bodies are incredible and we have to cherish it and take care of ourselves. Our body still loves us, supports us, and fights for us even when we don't love it back.

So here is your friendly reminder.. we ALL get bloated, we ALL have some sort of body fat, we ALL have scars, we ALL are not perfect but we are ALL human and unique.

We don't want to ask much of you but when you walk through our doors all we ask if for you to be YOU.
