North Webster, IN has an annual Mermaid Festival and some of us from the camp staff went. (well we got coffee at the local cafe first)
I took my camera. We can confirm we saw mermaids.
although my camera, photos I am in and another one of the two amazing ladies were taken by camp staff .

Taking a step back to remember just last month how I was standing in front of beautiful waves, the sound of the ocean, and a quiet sandy beach. Then came getting all my taxes finally together and getting all of that done for tax day. Throw in some down days, some stressful days, some days of pure joy, and now catching up with edits and invoices. Oh, and setting up a much better system for next years taxes. :) If you haven’t been over to my website, you can check it out in my bio. We still need to add portfolio and blogs, but I’m still so, very happy with how and I came to the look of it for the official launch and can’t wait to see where it takes the business. 💛

I have news!!!!! I have a website and I'm going full time with my business ...
ok, you know I am more excited that that.
LISTEN UP EVERYONE. (I mean please..it's a slightly wordy post, but worth it)
I have been working with my friend Joshua Vire(Fire By Night Design Co) on a brand new website, and the first one I've technically ever had to the public. I could not have done this without Josh though. So yeah, FIRST, but not all, A WEBSITE!!! I have a WEBSITE!!!
What's next, after listening to what the Lord has been telling me and hearing the encouragement around me, I have decided to go FULL TIME with my photography and video business!!!! So that means I need YOU! I need you to help me. Share my website, recommend me to those looking for a photographer, book that session you have been wanting to do! I will be possibly annoying you the next week or so with re-launch deals and stories of what has been going on behind the scenes. But this.....
I can’t tell you how thankful I am for Josh. He was amidst starting his business when helping me with mine. I honestly had no idea what to do with it but he came through with asking what I wanted as far as colors/style/ect. We went through different ways to set it up and early in the process, within a few days, I came back to the website in awe. He made a website dream come true. He is a helper of small businesses and will take time to figure out what you want. There are still some things to add, but I will be adding more as time goes on. But without listening to God making it clear to me, without my mom cheering me on in early days, and without Josh’s patience, kindness, encouragement, and overall super detailed help, I couldn’t have done this. Not at all by myself. But I finally have a website after many years of having a business. Thank. You. Jesus. So go book away now please and thank you. 😁😅

Hey! Just to keep everyone in the loop, I have stepped away from social media right now but needed to make an update to the business pages! (Messengers will still be open)

MargoJean Photography is going under a bit of rebranding and will be back soon! A new website is coming and I'm looking forward to releasing it soon! However, excuse us while we take a short break to work hard and continue to wipe the dust off the name and bring back a fresh new look!

As far as booking, that is still happening during this time as well as photographing sessions. All you need to do is hop over to the messages, send one my way and and let's set something up! I am excited and ready to come back and create so many beautiful stories and connect with so many more in the next year!

Hello! I don’t think I have done a proper introduction in awhile and what better way than a Monday afternoon.

So my name is Margo Jean and I think the handle gives that away. I’ll throw some random facts about myself and you can comment if there’s anything else you’d like to know!
•I have an identical twin sister
•In the last few years I’ve gone outside my comfort zone and done many weddings and MMA fight nights. (Which is why I struggle on what to post to be consistent in style 😅)
•I’ve had a camera in my hand all the way back to disposables and film
•It took me 8 years of school in a total of 10 years before I finally graduated with an art major(and I don’t regret it)
•I love coffee .. I mean what photographer doesn’t
•I have done photog for 10+ years and recently started doing video in the last few years as well!
•I need a personal assistant that can remember to post on my social and respond to emails 😅
•I love to go on rides with my vintage road bike
•I’m a sucker for flowers from Farmer’s Markets
•I’m Indiana born and raised.. and still here.
•I have a full time job in marketing
•When I’m not editing, I’m probably watching Netflix and/or playing my Nintendo switch or laughing with friends.

Go check out this video I made earlier this year for STAR 88.3! This was for the Three Rivers festival and they worked so hard to get a QUICK venue change to still do the concert out of the rain. Such an incredible team that is working to spread the gospel over the community through genuine outreach and love for the city! Always love getting a chance to work with them!

I absolutely love doing family photos. This was such a fun and joyful family and so fun with their children getting some energy out for some candid fun photos too as we walked the trails. That also might be my favorite kind 😁🌲🌲🌲
