At the beginning of 2024, I was in a constant battle of trying to keep up with this page. I felt like if I didn't post what I was photographing, I wouldn't be able to continue to book clients. One Sunday at church I was going back and forth with the Lord about how to steward this business that blesses my family while not letting it become a burden to them. Specifically regarding social media, He so clearly said to me, "Give it up and watch me provide." So I did. And He DID.
He faithfully brought both returning and new clients at just the right pace.
This next part needs a back story: My husband and I had always hoped to go on a trip just the two of us to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and his 30th birthday. For multiple reasons, we had decided January or February of 2025 would be ideal timing if we were going to go away. For most of 2024 we went back and forth on if it was going to be able to happen financially. As we've seen plenty of times in our lives before, if it's His will, we knew He would provide a way. Later in the year, I was asked to photograph a wedding in the Dominican Republic! (with Zach as my second shooter of course.) We couldn't believe it. The date of the wedding? February of 2025
