Let there be smoke! We have a full pit this morning. I guess if we really wanted to get carried away we could add 3 more briskets and 2 more butts but we needed some breathing room. Phew

Even though it wasn’t a great weather day today we made the best of it at Kenyetto Fire District. It was a struggle at first but the end result was what mattered. Thanks guys and gals for another successful outing

Today we made our way to the Ephratah Rod & Gun Club for a graduation party for Hailey, Olivia, and Elizabeth. We prepared our bbq chicken by special request and four different pork lions ( coffee, honey rub wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cornbread stuffing, a sweet smokey rub wrapped in bacon and stuffed with pork stuffing , and the last one had a special homemade rub

What else do you do on an early Easter Sunday morning other than smoke brisket? The answer is pop a ham in at 6am and make it double smoked. It’s gonna be a very long night/morning but it’ll be worth the effort!
