The Barnhardt Event Center Music Series begins on Wednesday, January 28th, with acoustic guitar legend Richard Smith. We were lucky enough to catch him coming through town on his 2026 tour. Richard Smith is one of the most jaw-dropping acoustic guitarists in the world. A National Fingerstyle Champion and a member of the Thumbpickers Hall of Fame, he blends the styles of Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, and Django Reinhardt into a sound that’s uniquely his own.
