Planning ahead for Labor Day at the Post?

Here is what you need to know before you arrive.

The best place to park is at the old hospital on the hill overlooking Barnhardt Circle; walk to the west entrance, or use the free shuttle to the east entrance. The free shuttle will run all day courtesy of Catoosa County Public Schools.

People with limited mobility may be dropped off by personal vehicle near the East Entrance, between the Fort Oglethorpe Welcome Center and Barnhardt Academy. After drop-off, drivers can park at the hospital parking lot and ride the shuttle.

Labor Day at the Post is Monday, September 7, from 9a to 9p at Barnhardt Circle.

We need a few brave souls... brave enough?

Fort O Fright is coming to Stable 41 this October, and weโ€™re looking for volunteers to help bring the haunted stable to life.

Actors, greeters, scene helpers, make-up artists, and behind-the-scenes support are all part of creating the experience.

You donโ€™t have to be a professional performer. You just need a good attitude, a little imagination, and a willingness to help make something fun for Fort Oglethorpe.
