Saturday night about 10pm I checked my Facebook. A friend had posted a video about a guy from Tennessee grilling chicken and giving out free meals in the Walmart parking lot on the way to FMB (Ft Myers Beach) I texted her, starting baking cookies and brownies and went down to meet Jimmy the next day. His organization is Cultivating Hope. He has been here a month already, cooking lunch and dinner every day, sleeping in his truck to guard his set up and supplies. I also met Christopher who took a bus from Texas to help, and two wonderful local ladies Deby and Michelle helping Jimmy every day and also sleeping in their vehicles as they both lost their homes. HOW BLESSED AM I to meet these incredible people and be able to lend a hand. I will be back to help with food and clothes!
