I'd like to thank everyone that came out yesterday and supported us at Eggfest. The people have spoken and we won 1st place. We served over 1500 and went through 10 Briskets! We've already got plans on what to make next year.

For all of my SWFL followers. Every year on the 4th of July San Carlos Park Fire Department has a Parade, and after the Parade New Day Christian Chrurch gives out Hot Dog lunches. This year I'm donating 5 briskets that I will be there slicing and handing out for FREE. Yes that's right you can come on down and get a FREE brisket lunch. Starting at 10:00 first come first serve until the meat is gone. There will also be hot dogs, chips, and water.

Eggfest in Bonita Springs was a huge success. We started out with over 100 pounds of Brisket, handed out over 1000 samples and won second place in people's choice. It seemed like we had a line at our tent the whole time and I couldn't slice fast enough to keep up. I can't wait till next year.

Briskets have been in since 6:30 pm. Now time to wrap.

Now I know to bring more meat next year. I started handing out samples at 11:00 and went through 120 pounds of pork tenderloin in 2 hours. Some people came up 3-4 times to get more. Injected with Mango juice and used a Mango Habanero rub. Unless I cook something else I'm guessing 200 pounds. Lots of people and the money goes to some great causes down here. 2 hours till judging results
