That dress you’ve been saving for someday?
This is your reminder that someday doesn’t have to be a wedding or a special invitation. Sometimes someday looks like a wine night with friends.

We all have that outfit hanging in our closet waiting for the “right moment.” But what if the right moment is simply being together?

Wear that dress and pour the wine.

Tell me: what’s something you’ve been saving for a special occasion? Share this with the friend who always says, “I have nowhere to wear this.”

I never thought that pairing six wine with dinner and designing a tablescape to fit the theme was a skill that could be a fulfilling career and make other people happy. Cheers to finding your skillset and hopefully not doing spreadsheets again. If you’ve ever turned something people underestimated into your superpower, send this to a friend who gets it.

Cheers to the creatives, event planners, wine lovers, and small business owners making things happen wherever they can. I love designing a full Tablescape for my wine tastings. I feel like it helps create a relaxing vibe instead of a school-like test taking vibe. Do you agree?

Tell me… where’s the most unexpected place you’ve worked lately? And send this to someone building their dream from the kitchen table too.

Wine homework is way more fun than regular homework.

Everyone thinks the wine world is all glamorous dinners and vineyard views until I tell them I spent my Friday night studying clay and wine profiles! (But we do get a lot of glamorous dinners and vineyard views too)

The difference between pouring wine and creating an experience is this. I’m not a paperwork person. I love to set tables for wine tastings and make people feel comfortable the minute they walk in the room.

And if I put this much effort into the tablescape… imagine what the actual wine tasting experience is like.

Most people never get to see this side of the wine world so come behind the scenes of a wine competition.

American Fine Wine Competition Annual “The Rosé Competition” was held this weekend and I was fortunate enough to be one of the judges. We blind tasted 120 rosé wines from around the world. Be on the lookout for the results. Who got Gold? Who got Double Gold? Who got Best In Show?

Thanks to and and team for their hard work and excellent organization. It was a pleasure to judge alongside so many notable people in the wine industry. Shout out to our .sfl members who judged, helped and sponsored the event. We are a FORCE!

The competition ended with a fundraising event “Fifty Shades of Pink” to raise money for the Joel Feigenheimer Scholarship Endowment for an FIU student in hospitality and for other local charities. Please consider a donation to these worthy causes. The link is in my bio under American Fine Wine Competition.

A little morning reading with my coffee.

I finally received the translated version of “One Thousand Vines” by Pascaline Lepeltier after hearing her speak at the WSG Tasting Diploma Summit about intention in Chenin Blanc. She used 4 Chenin Blancs from the same area in the Loire but with 4 different expressions. It was brilliant. That’s one of the things I love most about wine is that there is always more to learn. It inspired me to order her book to see what else I can learn from her.

Have a great day everyone and happy reading!

Fort Lauderdale friends, if your perfect Sunday includes great wine, good food, and supporting a meaningful cause… this is your sign.

Join us this Sunday at the American Fine Wine Competition’s “50 Shades of Pink, Red, White & Food” gala at the Fort Lauderdale Women’s Club from 5–8 PM. Taste 200+ award-winning wines, meet fellow wine lovers, and enjoy an evening that gives back to our local community.

A portion of the proceeds supports the Joel Feigenheimer Scholarship and other local charities, so every sip supports something bigger.

Whether you love rosé, bold reds, crisp whites, or simply discovering new favorites with friends, this is one of Fort Lauderdale’s most fun wine events of the season.

Tickets are $55 all-inclusive and available now at the link in my bio.

See you Sunday, Fort Lauderdale. Wine, food, community, and charity — all in one evening. 🍷
