MIAMI — NOVEMBER 7TH. THIS ONE IS FOR THE HEADS. 🔊
808 LIFE is bringing two genuine Detroit legends to The Ground@Club Space
DJ GODFATHER — one of the founding fathers and driving forces of Detroit ghettotech. A producer, label boss and ridiculously skilled turntablist who helped fuse Detroit techno, electro, Miami bass and hip-hop into a sound that became synonymous with the Motor City underground. From Twilight 76 and Databass to dance floors around the world, his influence runs DEEP.
DJ ASSAULT — another true architect of the Detroit sound. Producer, MC, DJ and founder of Jefferson Ave Records, Assault helped take Detroit booty/ghettotech from the streets and clubs of Detroit to an international audience. Raw, fast, funky and unmistakably Detroit — this is the man behind classics like “Ass-N-Titties” and the legendary Belle Isle Tech.
