Happy Birthday Jerry Garcia. Thank you for all the music and memories and lifelong friendships that you and the Grateful Dead have afforded me. A community where I always felt welcome and accepted. A place to smile and celebrate and dance like no one was watching. Music that could make me laugh and cry. Impossible to explain to anyone who was “not on the bus” the impact that Jerry and The Dead had on all of us. I really can’t envision a different path. Thank you 🙏
