Happy Bookshop 27th Birthday to The Book Worm!!

October 7th, a day full of gratitude, wonder and reflection. Today, not only would have been my Mom’s birthday but it also marks the 27th anniversary of The BookWorm! Where have the years gone? Owning a bookstore was never on my radar. I’m didn’t know what I was doing when I first opened and I still don’t! Some have said that’s the secret to success, don’t know if that’s true or not. But I do know that it has taken a LOT of work, dedication and long hours but the rewards are worthwhile. Customers who have become dear friends, the joy of seeing a child’s face light up when they find a book and of course the fact that I’ve been able to have my fur friends in the store with me. But truth be told none of this would be possible without the people who have helped at the store. You’ll have made the store what it is today and you helped to keep me relatively sane and last but not least the customers!!! Without your love and support we would have never made it to this big milestone!! Thank you everyone for 27 years!!
