Pulling off a proposal in the mountains during peak rutting season is no easy feat, especially when Mother Nature decides to surprise us with a downpour the second MacKenzie stepped out of the vehicle (thinking she was on her way to do photos with the girls before a night out.)

Luckily, Henry had spent months planning the moment. His calm demeanor when we had to change plans multiple times at the last minute was pivotal to pulling off the biggest surprise for MacKenzie. Needless to say, MacKenzie's reaction in the photos speaks for itself. ☺️

And wouldn't you know it, minutes after the proposal, we were welcomed by one of the most majestic rainbows I've ever seen.

Carter and Charlotte tied the knot in a sunset ceremony on the Campbell family farm in Springfield, Kentucky.
In true Charlotte fashion, she designed and handmade her bright magenta wedding gown herself.
The flowers were grown on her mom and dad's property, and music for the ceremony was provided by their many musically talented friends in attendance.
The August Kentucky heat was no match for the wonderful time to be had by all 💕
