Why hire a coordinator? What does it mean- ‘we prevent the should have’.
I can not tell you how many people have told us, yeah I went to this one wedding blah, blah, blah they should of hired a coordinator. Or Bride and Grooms have told us at our wedding we didn’t have someone like you, we should have…
Planning a wedding is a HUGE undertaking, how many times in your life do you plan a dinner party for 100 or more guests? Even micro weddings are a huge event. It is one of the most important days in your life. For most, it is a day you have dreamed about for years.
Most couples have such a clear vision which crumbles when they start to get into ALL the details involved.
There is constant contact needed with 10 to 50 vendors, the wedding party, the family etc. It is a full time job, specifically if you have never done anything like it before.
Let alone knowing each vendor will deliver what they have promised, which unfortunately isn’t always the case. 😬
This is where a coordinator is invaluable. They are there to read the fine print, they have knowledge of common practices, they know a red flag situation when they see one, they also know people in the industry and their reputations.
A coordinator is like an insurance policy for your wedding. They make it an enjoyable experience and your dream… a reality. 💫
This is what DOYD puts together for new clients, a venue tour with prices, pro’s & con’s of each venue and a check in sheet of what you as the client should be looking for in your venue.
Make your day your dream, hire your insurance policy! 💍
