Our goal is to enrich the cultural life of the region and, in so doing, add to the common experience that bonds us all to our community and the world around us. We explore various cultures and common values in the hope of strengthening an appreciation for diversity and promoting a sense of community on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The Theatre provides a venue in which writers, directors, actors, designers, poets, and visual artists can practice and improve their craft as well as experiment and develop new creative works.

Join us at Bas Bleu Theatre on October 2nd from 5–7 PM with live music, drinks, and snacks as we celebrate the unveiling of the new Poudre River Mural created by Fort Collins artist Chelsea Gilmore in partnership with the Coalition for the Poudre River Watershed!

This mural is more than a beautiful new piece of public art, it’s a celebration of our connection to the Poudre River and the role it plays in the ecological, cultural, agricultural, and everyday life of Northern Colorado

Earlier this year, local community members voted between two designs by Chelsea and “Life of the River” emerged as the winning design! Now, after weeks of painting the vision is coming to life on the historic Bas Bleu building in the River District

Come celebrate with us and meet the artist herself! Chelsea Gilmore is a Fort Collins-based muralist, installation artist, community art maker, arts educator and advocate

"The Crime Reporter" a developing new play by John Moore

"The Crime Reporter" is a play about the cost of choosing to step out from behind the clothesline... What begins as a gentle neighborhood memory piece transitions into a deeply resonant and staggeringly vulnerable family drama about mortality, growing up, the quiet fracturing of marriage and the 1970s American family.

Johns goal is much broader than just writing a play about his mother… it honors an entire generation of brilliant, 1970s women who quietly forged their own purpose – some at home, some in the workforce, some in both
