What sounds miserable and absurd to one is enjoyable and thrilling to another. A gravel ride, a gravel race, rooted in the insanity of a Fondo with the levity of the Fort Collins community. Whether you’re into racing bikes or all day bike parties in the open range of Colorado. FoCo Fondo is your adventure.

The secret is out! WTB (Wilderness Trail Bikes) has just launched three new big tires today, all of which have patent-pending aerodynamic technology. Be one of the first to get your hands on them at Brave New Wheel this Friday (Sept 11) from 3-6pm.

We’ll bring some bikes with the tires already installed on them so you can see them in the flesh (heck yeah we’re running them Sunday). Grab a set at Brave on Friday and get free WTB sealant to pair along with some WTB merch. WTB will be running a bar tab as well, so swing on by and stay awhile 🍻

Byway RS 50 (620g): The pure speed option in the collection. A slick centerline with low-profile transition and shoulder k***s delivers exceptional rolling efficiency on hardpack gravel, pavement and race courses, while retaining predictable cornering traction when conditions get loose.

Course 52 (635g): The sweet spot between outright speed and all-terrain capability. Its versatile tread pattern delivers dependable traction without sacrificing rolling efficiency, making it the ideal choice for varied gravel conditions.

Macro 54 (640g) Engineered for rougher terrain and bigger adventures. As the highest-volume tire in the family, it pairs a more aggressive tread with taller, wider-spaced k***s for maximum confidence on loose, rocky, and technical surfaces.

Join us June 17-20th, 2027!! 🤩🚴🥳

After 11 years on the same-ish weekend, we’re moving. Between the increasing load of heat, ozone levels, and UV intensity here on the Front Range the past 5 years, the accumulative load has become just too much- too much for riders, staff, partners, and everyone involved.

We’re thrilled on the new date. Yes, it falls on Father’s Day. Of course Year 12 is Fast & Furious inspired- “it’s all about family!” It’s going to be refreshing. We’re working on lots of other shifts for next year and we’ll share when we can!

Thank you for signing up and taking the time to come- it’s what lets us continue to do what we do on event weekend and beyond in the community.

Looking to add something new and fresh to your fall season? We’ll be heading out to the first Steve Tilford Foundation Epic in September. Lawrence is definitely a sister city in bike community culture 🥰

Registration is OPEN for the inaugural STF Epic Gravel Cycling Festival at Snake Farm Ranch just outside of Lawrence, KS. This one-of-a-kind, spectator-friendly event offers a festival atmosphere on the beautiful Snake Farm Ranch surrounded by classic Kansas gravel. While the racing at the front is competitive, the event is open to anyone willing to challenge themselves.

The STF Epic also serves as a fundraiser for the Steve Tilford Foundation. This includes the Let’s Ride! program, which provides bicycles and helmets to Lawrence second graders at Title I schools, helping remove one of the initial barriers to participation in cycling.

🕵️ Mystery solved 🕵️

About half of the 2026 FoCo Fondo bottles this year came from the factory without the gasket that goes in the lid— whoops. Without the gasket the bottle leak. S**t happens and we’re appreciative that The FUTURE of Water Bottles is making it right. Here’s the plan:

We have the best aid stations out there, let’s be real. Everyone was committed to the objective of keeping riders cool, happy and thriving. The heat was no joke! We glittered ourselves, assembled our collections of water guns (and used the s**t out of them), opened SO many pickle jars, kept those cokes on ice, transported and maintained an unreal amount of ice, and rallied to help riders find success. Thanks First Endurance for the Liquid Shots & EFS Hydration and Bobo's for the oat bars!

FoCo Fondo is a community-backed and built event. We had over 85 volunteers (mostly local) this year who supported your journey.

From packet stuffing, venue set up and tear down, course marking and clean up, registration, finish line support, SAG, on-course support and so much more. Together we make magic happen ✨
