We need a few more volunteers to get ‘yer S(w)AG on at this year’s Fondo!

No, not THAT swag. We’re talking SAG (Support & Gear) drivers. You know, the legends who make sure no rider gets left behind. As a SAG driver, you’ll cruise behind the last rider on one of our course distances, provide support if needed, and help ensure every participant makes it safely to the finish line. Think of yourself as part gravel nomad, part guardian angel.

What’s required:
✔️ Valid driver’s license
✔️ Current vehicle insurance
✔️ Reliable vehicle
✔️ Ability to transport passengers in an emergency
✔️ Bonus points for AWD vehicle and a bike rack

really rolls out the red carpet for you all with two private tours for FoCo Fondo riders and their family & friends. Born on a bike and a self-claimed human-powered business, they are much more than “just a brewery” — with the wellbeing of their coworkers, customers and communities at front of mind.

Tour the HQ facilities (), learn the origin story, how to pour the best beer, sample barrel-aged beer amongst the largest craft brewery foeder collection in the U.S., and watch beer be born at the canning facility (right next to the start/finish line!). FoCo Fondo special tour are at 12:30 & 3:30pm on Saturday, July 18th and linked in our stories today or at focofondo.com under Training Rides & Events. Spots are limited and sell out every year- it’s a must-do experience.

Sunday marks the final Training Ride of the year. That can only mean one thing— is just around the corner!! Grab ride details and routes at focofondo.com under Training Rides & Events.

A huge thanks to for supporting the series this year and being the best ride start/finish venue in town 🍻

We are ending on a super fun note: both routes are true mixed terrain riding and showcase the connectivity we have here. Note that we will stash some water on the long route due to lack of services and predicted warm weather.

A big thanks to | for bringing us home as lanterne rouge and for running a mid-paced long route option (they are starting early).

We’re thrilled to announce the NEW Costume Relay on Saturday, July 18 over weekend at the Bike & Outdoor Lifestyle Expo. Registration opens on June 15 with a maximum of 24 teams- $50 team entry with all proceeds supporting 501(c)(3) FFF programming.

The scoop:
👉 Teams of 2-4- team name required!
👉 Each round is 4 laps of 0.5 miles on short track course
👉 4 heats (max 6 teams each heat), single elimination
👉 1 team from each heat goes on to the final
👉 Top team wins gift card to go celebrate, as does the “best costumed” team!!

We’re just over a week away from the x Gravel Skills Clinic, coming up Saturday June 6.

Who is this clinic for, you ask? 🧐

Riders looking to learn new skills or improve existing skills. This is not necessarily a beginner or advanced clinic. We’ve set up the sessions to teach you where you’re at and progress rapidly from that point. If you haven’t learned how to hop a with each wheel independently, you’ll have that skill by the end. If you have hopping an obstacle as a skill already you’ll be able to go bigger and progress that skill more rapidly in this clinic. The skills covered will help you continue to progress in your bike journey!

We’re pumped to have supporting you all in more ways than one this year. TrainingPeaks has been an essential part of our own athlete lives for more than two decades (each!). This essential tool offers a home for all your training and syncs with wearables making it a centralized place to evaluate your fitness and help you meet your goals. You can apply a pre-made training plan, like the ones, hire a coach for more customized plans, or input yourself.
