We’ve had such a fun morning at the Monroe County Fine Arts Center! Members of the MPHS Class of 1975 stopped by to tour the facility. They spent time reminiscing about life at MP, their classmates’ antics, and even class lessons like the word of the week. As an added bonus, Ms. Gwen Byrd was excited to find the seat dedicated in her honor upon her retirement from Monroe County Schools! 🖤💛

From the opening chord of Benny and the Jets to the standing ovation after the final encore, Still Standing A Tribute to Elton John brought the energy and sounds of to our stage Saturday night, and it was amazing! You're invited to a special night of drama presented by our Monroe County Middle School 8th grade theatre students. We'll begin the evening with our 8th grade B-day students' presentation of "When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors" at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 18. There will be a short intermission, and then our 8th grade A-day class will perform "The Complaint Department and Lemonade." Seating is first come, first served, and donations will be accepted at the box office to benefit this program. We hope to see you there!
