Friends & Family are welcome to stay in our little cabin by our home. Our Moonshine Ridge Lodge is not for rent. This is our personal home that we enjoy sharing with our family and friends. Giving a refuge to them that just need a place to stay, regroup, refresh or just to visit.

Here’s a little history for those wonderful Shiny Brites
Shiny Brite ornaments
were created by German immigrant Max Eckardt in 1937 to ensure a supply of American-made glass ornaments when imports from Germany became uncertain before WWIl. Collaborating with Corning Glass Works, they adapted a light bulb machine to mass-produce the clear glass balls. The brand became iconic for its use of metal caps, bright colors, and glitter, though wartime shortages forced changes like replacing metal parts with cardboard hangers and using less metallic paints.
This is my old German twig tree with my grandmothers & mother’s old Shiny Brights plus a few from a dear friend.
