Our Story - The Lodge at Singing Waters

The Lodge wasn’t always the Lodge - but it was always home to our family. This land has been a place our family has gathered for decades to celebrate, grieve, relax, catch up, go swimming, have epic bonfires, take off hiking through the woods - you get the idea.

Before the Lodge was built onto the mountainside, our family used to camp in these beautiful woods, roasting s’mores and using the ravine that flows through the property to keep our watermelons and sodas cold in the summertime. Memories of swimming down in the creek at the end of our driveway and sunbathing on the large, sun-heated rocks are some of our favorite.

When the Lodge was built, a beautiful mountainside retreat with 4 bedrooms, two kitchens, and 4 and 1/2 baths that sleeps up to 12 guests, we knew we had to share its magic at least a little with the rest of the world. Whatever you’re looking for, the Lodge always gives. We are honored to have hosted countless guests’ wedding ceremonies, weekend getaways and long-term retreats in the years since building the Lodge - providing an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
