MENU FOR OCTOBER 21

🍂 Souper Wednesday 🍁

The menu this week includes Tuscan Chicken Soup and Beef and 3 Bean Chili. My oven has decided to fail on me and between the power outage and the repair schedule, we won’t have cookies this week.

So each order will come with 2qts of soup and 6 rolls.

Pricing:

$50 for 2 qts and half a dozen rolls, please let me know what combo you want.

Place your order by Monday at 10am. Those that use Venmo don’t need to text me, just put soup types in your description.
Those paying by cash need to order by texting me at 831-588-2621.
Late orders will be subject to availability.

We have Loaded Potato Soup and Harvest Beef Minestrone on tap! For dessert we have Brown Butter Pumpkin Oatmeal cookies.

Each order comes with 2qts of soup, 6 rolls and 6 cookies.

Pricing:

$60 for 2 qts of Loaded Potato Soup, plus rolls and cookies

$70 for 1 qt of Loaded Potato Soup and 1 qt Harvest Beef Soup, plus rolls and cookies

$80 for 2 qts of Harvest Beef Soup, plus rolls and cookies

Souper Wednesday Night!

At Thorne Cottage, we are expanding our offerings! With the cooler weather settling in, we are adding a Wednesday Soup night thru November, with pick up orders between 3pm-6pm on Wednesdays. Delivery available for additional $5.

With each order you will get 2 quarts of homemade soup/chili of the week, a half dozen rolls and a half dozen cookies of the week. Each order serves 4-6 and will cost $60. Having a group? Double up to serve 8-12. Soups will freeze or last in the fridge for several days!

I will post our soup and cookie options for the week on Thursdays. Orders must be received by the following Monday before 10am to guarantee availability for Wednesday pick up. Last minute orders will be subject to quantities available.

We will start on Wednesday, Oct 14. I will post the menu options on Thursday, Oct 8. Orders will be taken by commenting on Thursday’s posts or by texting me at 831-588-2621. Payment will be by Venmo, or cash upon pickup/delivery.

Next month, in August, I’m adding a new workshop! Paint by number!This is my version of sip and paint!! I have 10 kits available…who feels like an artist? 😃 The subject is pictured and the full kit with paint, brushes needed, etc will be included in your price, and will be yours to take home to finish your project! Price is $60pp. Bring your beverage of choice and let’s make an evening of it! I’ll supply some snacks. Oh, I can hear the giggles already!! 😂

Who else has played with AI lately? This seemed like a good way to do a quick introduction to all you newbies out there! (Thanks for following along!)

I’m Cathy, co-owner of Thorne Cottage…(I share it with my awesome hubby Scott and our loveable Newfie, Bergie.) I’ve been in the event business for 25 years. I have focused mainly on event design and catering. I managed an event design business in the Reno-Tahoe market, as well as partnering in two catering businesses in those beautiful Sierra mountains! To top it off, I was the Catering Director at the University of Montana in Missoula.

We settled in Foresthill almost 10 years ago and love the scenery and peace and quiet up here! We have built a little haven here and love to share our place with people looking for a rural setting without sacrificing style, quality and professionalism.

We offer workshops, rehearsal dinners and chef popup dinners occasionally. Check out our calendar of events or contact me for a private event!
