PRETTY MUSHROOMS!! For a quick starter course, layer a little marscapone (optional), Gruyère cheese, grilled onions, bacon and a fresh variety of market mushrooms on puff pastry. Bake and enjoy warm or room temperature.

There have been some pictures of the weekend’s paella celebration floating around, but I thought I would put some in one place :) We had such a great evening, with fun guests and perfect weather!

Welcome cocktails:

Cathy’s Summer Spritzer… Aperol, Vodka, St Germaine, Cava and Grapefruit.

White Sangria

Apps from the deck oven:

Roasted cherry peppers stuffed with goat cheese and sharp cheddar, and wrapped with butter

Shrimp swimming in spicy butter

Charred Shish*to peppers

Dinner:

Multi colored Gazpacho served with Spanish Cava

Caesar with white anchovy filet, served with a Spanish white (I forgot the name lol)

Ultimate Paella with chicken, andouille sausage, shrimp and clams, served with a Spanish Rioja.

Cherry and strawberry popovers with balsamic glaze and whipped cream, served with Port.

The evening ended with our beautiful local fire dancer, Stephanie. Sounds fun, huh??

Had a cray cray May?? Let us pamper you before June gets equally as busy! On May 31, we are hosting a Paella Popup, a special evening in the garden/lawn, porch side and patio!

We have a few openings left, so let us know asap if you are ready to chill with cocktails and wine, assorted apps and courses, all with a Spanish flair. Relax on the lawn, taste some yummy apps and watch us make your entree Paella in the deck oven! Then enjoy an after dinner drink around the fire. Sound fun? Join us!!

How do you spend a rainy day? Over here we play with dough, lol! Our Pasta and Puttanesca class was super fun! We created ate, drank and laughed our way through the day as the rain outside came down. If you attended yesterday’s class, what was your favorite part? And should we do Pasta clas 2.0? 😃
