National Nonprofit Day on Sunday, August 17, is a perfect time to show appreciation for the impact nonprofits have on communities around the world.

Here are five things you can do to celebrate and show support:

🗓️ Commit to supporting your favorite nonprofits: Becoming a monthly donor can help ensure your nonprofits can provide their critical services consistently.
🤝 Volunteer your time: Nonprofits often rely on volunteers to carry out important tasks that support their mission. Consider offering your skills and expertise regularly!
📣 Boost awareness: Using social media, partnering with local news, or simply sharing amongst friends can help boost awareness of their work and bring new supporters into the fold.
🗣️ Attend or host an event: Many nonprofits host events on or around National Nonprofit Day and GivingTuesday to raise funds and awareness. Join in and show support!

🌟 Home Sweet Home! ✈️. After a fantastic week away, I jumped right back into action on Friday with not one, not two, but FOUR incredible events! 🎉

Representating my client Fully Promoted of Lynchburg, VA and several Committees I'm currently on Lyh250 and Site representative Wreaths Across America December 13, 2025 wreath laying at Old City Cemetery. Wreaths Across America Day was full but rewarding!!

First up, we celebrated the beautiful ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Lynchburg Symphony's new Main Street location, complete with enchanting violin melodies. 🎻 It was heartwarming to see so many friends and supporters join us—what an exciting season ahead!

Next, I headed over to Ivy Hills Golf Course to cheer on the LRBA Women’s Group as they tackled nine holes. The scenery was stunning, even if it was a bit on the warm side! ☀️⛳️

Then, I had the pleasure of coordinating and attending the LYH250 book launch at Givens Books Little Dickens .The turnout was amazing, and it was a delight to meet historians and contributors to this remarkable project. 📚✨
As a committee member we'd love to have you on board to join in the historic opportunity year.

Finally, I wrapped up the day cheering for the Lynchburg Hillcats alongside the fun-loving Brookville Boys and Friends! 🎉⚾️ Grateful to our friends at Legacy Wealth Management for the unforgettable skybox experience. And guess what? The Hillcats clinched a victory!
