My have things changed at Heritage Park!!!

HORSES IN THE BARN!
These tractors of the Ruble Foundation were ready to perform today at Heritage Park with plowing, threshing and corn shelling but the inclement weather had other plans! They have been around for over 100 years and next year will be better.
Tomorrow is predicted to be better weatherwise so we invite you to come and visit the many museums. The Silver Bullet Winnebago Express hauled 10 loads of Boy Scouts today and other passengers this afternoon on its first excursions and ran like it should!!
Church starts at 9 am at the 1890 Beaver Creek Church with the Second Generation providing the music and Paul Wahlberg with the devotional. Museums open at 9 also and first load on the train will start at 12:30 if the track is dry!
So much to see at Heritage Park and we invite you to do so. You won't be disappointed!!!

HERITAGE FEST WEEKEND
None of the hard working volunteers for this weekend's celebration wanted to see this forecast at noon with up to 3 inches predicted by Sunday. Because of the obvious the Board met and canceled all field demonstrations, parades, Don Johnson Concert,. Fireworks are ON The running of the Silver Boot Winnebago Express will not happen unless we have a dry track!
But we are still going to have fun! All indoor activities of the over 15 museums and the committed vendors will proceed as well as the 9 am church service at Beaver Creek Church with the Second Generation leading in worship. The opening of the Ver Hoef Railroad Museum in itself is worth the trip!
We also invite you to come and celebrate on Saturday with 10 groups of the Scouts Tri-District Jamboree celebrating 100 years of Scouting with displays and demonstrations this weekend at the park! Also they are serving to you three choices of cobblers from 4:30-5:00 on Saturday in celebrations! BUY ICE CREAM FROM OUR HAND MADE ICE CREAM SHOP ( It's great with cobbler)
"The weather outside is frightful
but the activities inside the Park will be delightful"
