🎃FestiFall – Trick or Treat in Historic Folsom!

Get ready for a spooktacular afternoon of fun in Historic Folsom! Dress up your little ghouls and goblins for good old-fashioned trick-or-treating along Sutter Street. From 2–5 PM on Saturday, October 24, participating merchants will be handing out treats—look for the “Participating Merchant” signs!

🍬 What to Expect:
Trick-or-treating with merchants all along the district

Costumed shopkeepers & festive storefronts

Family-friendly activities & seasonal fun
Don’t miss this safe, fun, and free community event in the heart of Historic Folsom.

📅 Date: Saturday, October 24
🕑 Time: 2–5 PM
📍 Location: Sutter Street, Historic Folsom

🎃 Kids Costume Contest at the Zittel Family Amphitheater 👻

Presented by Cynthia’s Dance Center
Calling all little ghosts, superheroes, princesses, monsters and more! Dress up in your Halloween best and join us for a fun-filled Kids Costume Contest in Historic Folsom.

🏆 Five Age Categories
Two children in each age group will receive an Outstanding Costume Trophy, and every contestant receives a medallion!

🕓 Event Schedule
4:00 PM – Contestants called to the stage
4:10 PM – Costume Parade begins
🏆 Awards immediately following the parade

🎟️ Registration & Entry Fee

Registration is FREE and reserves your child’s spot in the contest. Contact Cynthia’s Dance Center at [email protected] or text 916-801-6553.

A $5 cash contest entry fee per child will be collected on the day of the event at the stage during contestant check-in.

Grab your paddleboard, dress in your witchiest attire, and join the 5th Annual Witches on the Lake on October 17 for a morning of fun, community, and paddling for a cause!

This annual event benefits Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance, supporting local children and families impacted by childhood cancer.💛

This one means a little extra to us.❤️

The Folsom Historic District Association is honored to be recognized as Best Clubs & Organizations in the 2026 Best of Times!

If you’ve enjoyed a concert at the amphitheater, spent a Saturday morning at the Historic Folsom Farmers Market, skated at the Folsom Ice Rink, celebrated at one of our community events, or simply enjoyed time in the district—you’ve experienced a little bit of what FHDA does.

Our team works year-round to help bring events, experiences, and traditions to Historic Folsom while supporting the businesses and community that make this district so special.

Much of that work happens behind the scenes, so receiving an award voted on by our community is incredibly meaningful to us.🏆

Thank you to everyone who voted, attended an event, volunteered, sponsored, partnered with us, or simply showed up and supported Historic Folsom.
