Thank you flowers and flower friends for another wonderful, adventurous season! Alas, we had a hard frost last night so it is time to say goodbye but to our the beautiful blooms. Their short but glorious stay is part of what makes them so special. We have to appreciate them when they are here. As the daylight shortens, so does a growers workload. Yes, there will be digging and dividing of dahlias, as well as cutting, cleaning, and covering beds. Lots left to do! But also slower days, more rest. I’m looking forward to slowing down, enjoying the autumnal light and doing a few puzzles.
