Sunrise Ruby Event Solutions # had the honor of coordinating the most adorable couple's wedding reception with the loveliest guests! Jill Blackwell and I had so much fun!

The couple opted to skip a formal reception and instead planned a blowout bash at a local AirBnB resort. We helped them lineup the vendors and to manage to event to leep things running smoothly so they (and their families) could truly enjoy the night as guests of honors!

It was truly one of my favorite events and left me so grateful that I get paid to plan and manage fun events like this!

I started to write about how stressed I am after we've had a third family vehicle 🚗 in 2 months break down and incur expensive repairs 💰. After totaling mine 3 months ago. Latest one was Tanner's after the football game last night. Having it towed home at midnight was not in my plans - especially since I have a full day today coordinating a huge wedding reception.

But then I stopped myself and thought about all the blessings I have in my life and it brought it all into perspective. We are blessed to be able to afford vehicles for the drivers in our family. We are blessed to be able to pay to have them repaired. We are blessed that none of these vehicle issues impacted our safety (and they easily could have). I am SO blessed to have a job I love so much, and being able to be my own boss and control my own work schedule. (Insert business plug here - Sunrise Ruby Event Solutions) 😊 I'm beyond blessed to have a husband who I can rely on to take care of his family and be a true partner in this crazy life! I am so blessed to have healthy, smart, really great kids! And a wonderful extended family. And the BEST friends and supportive community! ❤️

I'm generally a positive person and try not to complain. Sometimes circumstances make even the most blessed of us feel tested of that disposition. 🤣 But I'm so glad to have the introspection I need to not let it linger too long. So today, I will help two families celebrate their new union and will deal with crappy cars tomorrow.

Tonight Sunrise Ruby Event Solutions and 13:2 Events transformed this rooftop space at Marty B's for a beautiful, rustic wedding rehearsal dinner for 66 guests. Thank goodness was there was a breeze streaming though! (You can see the balloons on the tables swaying).

Women (or my gay friends): Who's more attractive - a super fit 💪 man who spends hours in the gym every week and is super disciplined with his nutrition 🥦 , or a man who rocks a dad bod and loves hot wings 🍗 and beer 🍺 ?

Men (or my gay friends): who's more attractive - a super chic woman 🧍‍♀️💄💋(hair extensions, plastic surgery, expensive wardrobe, etc.) or a naturally beautiful, but simple woman?

* no judgment here, and I know that there is so much more to humans than looks to determine beauty! I'm just talking at first glance....

Hi friends! Many of you know Sunrise Ruby Event Solutions helps plan and manage events, while also proving vendor coordination. But did you know one of my favorite types of events to plan is a beautiful Celebration of Life? It makes me so humbled and happy to take all the planning off the family's plate so they can focus on family and grieving their loved one. The planning package includes creating and managing a memorial website, handling the digital invites and managing the RSVPs, setting up a donation organization in lieu of flowers, and all the planning of the actual event, including, but not limited to food, beverages, flowers & decor, tent rentals, furniture rentals, AV rentals, memorial table setup, creating the programs, creating a music playlist, and assisting with the timeline of the day. I can even assist with writing obituaries. No one wants to think about all these details when they've just lost a person they love, so send them my way. I'd be honored to plan a beautiful celebration of life for their loved one.
