We were in Bandera to close out 2025 on one of our favorite ranches. We have been blessed to be apart of this annual event for many years. We started the evening with an assortment of charcuterie. For this special dinner we featured Caesar salad, smoked beef tenderloin with chimmichurri sauce, boursin mashed potatoes, and a medley of roasted carrots, asparagus, and sweet peppers. We are so blessed to be able to do what we do and truly love being able to share it with such great people. There are no words to describe how grateful we are for everyone we have been able to prepare meals for in 2025.

Big Thanks to one of our favorite families from George West for having us back to cook their Christmas dinner. We had beef tenderloin with chimmichurri , fried shrimp, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, and our au gratin topped garlic mashed potatoes. We started with an avocado salad and blackened and pepper crusted tuna caught by family members. Dessert was our butter grilled pound cake with banana foster topping. We always look forward to this dinner and we will see everyone next year. Thank you Larry & Shirley Holm

We wrapped up our hunting season on the ranch this past Sunday. The ranch hosted the annual Combat Marine Outdoors Hunt. This hunt is an opportunity for active and former combat veterans to enjoy the outdoors and spend time with fellow combat veterans. We truly love this hunt and the opportunity to cook for this group. The time was filled with great times and even greater people. Being around these men make you think about how grateful we all should be for their service and sacrifices they have made. Merry Christmas to each and everyone of the men and women who protect our country.

We were in San Marcos at the D.R. Horton Homes Headquarters for a Brunch on Monday. We had some tasty food on the menu. Chicken & waffles, a french toast bake with banana foster topping, crustless vegetable quiche, monte cristo sandwiches, biscuits and sausage gravy as well as a fruit salad. Big thanks to everyone for having us out for your event. A bigger thanks to our crew for all the hard work and for always making sure everything is always hot, fresh, and tasty.

We wrapped up Sunday out on the ranch. We have had some great meals but the people we share those meals with are even better.

We were out Wednesday at The Barn At Katzfey Ranches for the annual Live Oak Livestock Auction Barn Christmas party. We have been part of this celebration for longer than I can remember. We absolutely love this event and all the wonderful people who attend. Thanks to all the men who always show up to help flip steaks and steal samples of the grill. Seafood gumbo, ribeyes, fried shrimp, camp potatoes, green beans, and garlic parmesan rolls were on the menu. We can’t forget dessert peach and apple crumble cobbler. Thank you Riley & Darlene and everyone at the Auction Barn for having us out year after year.

This past Sunday we were out in Port Aransas for the Casa Bella annual Christmas dinner. This is one of our favorites for sure. Thank you Tanya for having us year after year.
