Fall is in the air !!!! Weddings, church retreats, reunions, etc. What a busy weekend with a fun mix of it all. Friday night we helped entertain a fine group before the Falcons game and helped some dear friends host their son’s rehearsal dinner. (The beautiful Brick & Ivy )Mike & Lisa it was beautiful!! We hit it early Saturday morning to make all of our stops. Tanner Stamps the grooms table turned out pretty cool if I do say so myself Locust Hill Lawson & Madison the rain held off and the day was perfect at Willow Oak Lodge, MHBS Class of 1976 thanks for the call to be a part, and lastly for Saturday we sure hope everyone at Sherrod Avenue Church Of Christ enjoyed dinner at the fall retreat.

Sunday morning JSM opened the door at 4 am 😳. Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ needed a good breakfast to start the last day of fall retreat and Stoney Point Church of Christ needed lunch for all their friends at Friends Day.

We appreciate each and every call and we love meeting new friends and seeing so many past customers and friends everywhere we go.

Also, a weekend like this (one after another ) just wouldn’t be possible without a fantastic team! And I hit the jackpot with mine. I’m
Always so appreciative to the ones we can call on to fill the gaps on big weekends too. It takes a village!!!!

The last weekend in September didn’t disappoint. May 17, 2026 I received a sweet message from a lady planning a birthday party. She sent pictures we discussed and planned. It was scheduled for July 18th. The week of she called; her mom was was in the hospital and things were not looking good. I told her not to worry. I totally understood. Well, as it turned out she was planning her mom’s visitation service instead of a birthday party that Saturday. She said we would maybe do something later. Well……. Mrs Rene called me back with a new date with a new twist. She and Mr. Ronnie had decided to get married and surprise all their friends with a reception. So last night we had the pleasure of helping them celebrate a new beginning under the pavilion at their home. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Gaston!!! Rene your mom would have loved the reception and I know she approves of your husband. He’s a keeper. Thank you for including us in your journey.

Always a privilege to provide goodies for a milestone birthday. Especially when it’s a fellow small business. The The Village Shoppe celebrated their 61st birthday today. Unless you’ve been a small business owner you probably can’t fully understand the significance of 61 years. Such great folks. Drop by and visit them tomorrow or Saturday you’ll be glad you did.
