Now that I have returned through the rabbit hole, I have many thanks to share. It truly takes a great team to execute an event and God assembled the best. Aside from us scheduling the Party on race weekend, everything was lovely! We will do better next year. Haha. So in no particular order are my shout outs:
The kitchen volunteers and the servers and set up/take down crew. They are the heart and soul of any event.
Shelby Spicer Wilkes, for overseeing the service in the dining area and being an assistant when I needed her!
Tony Rogers, for setting up the sound system and loaning me his headset.
J&E Integrated Services for running sound during the event. He is a man of many talents.
Holly's Heavenly Sweets & Treats, Holly made the delicious cookies that were the parting gifts. She is also a pro at gluten and sugar free items.
My sweet fellow "bottle feeding foster momma", Deb Monroe Mirick for coming last minute to help serve alongside her daughter Holly.
And very importantly, Blake Branham. Not only is Blake like family to me. He is my financial advisor and our first ever tea party sponsor! He sponsored the Queens Rose Garden Tea table. His late grandmother loved roses!
And Mr Ray...that always is a call away to help with any event. He is the muscle.
To the incomparable True Light Photography, owned by Phillip Guyton Jr., the pictures are beyond expectations! Thank you just seems insufficient.
Allison Ziegenfelder for all her hours spent painting the art I envisioned and spending hours upon hours sorting all the MADNESS that is Mad Hatter decor!
And a special thanks to Liz Parrish for believing in my vision and that it could be a worthy fundraiser for the FAHS. And thanks to Jane Boswell for trusting my crazy vision as well.
I will be back down the Rabbit Hole, most likely late February or 1st of March. See ya then.
Fairfarren to all! 🎩🐾♥️♠️♣️
