Maya’s Curry in a Hurry

Maya’s Curry in a Hurry I was born in India and love to cook, so I thought I’d try making authentic Indian dishes for the neighborhood. Each meal comes with rice and 4 pieces of naan.

I am offering to make Indian meals for family dinners. It feeds a family of 4-6.

I am offering any of my previous meals:
1. Aloo gobi (potatoes and cauliflower dish in spices)
2. Chicken tikka masala (contains small amounts of dairy) Please let me know if you need a dairy substitute.
3. Butter chicken (contains large amounts of dairy)
4. Chicken korma (contains almonds and coconut milk)
5. Coconut chicken curry (contains coconut milk)
6. Palak paneer (paneer is a cheese in a spinach dish with spices)

Each meal comes with rice and 4 pieces of naan. It feeds a family of 4-6. (An extra order of naan upon request is $5.00).

I can make meals on the following days:
1. Sunday February 16- delivery for dinner. Can make up to five meals
2. Monday February 17 (President’s Day)- delivery for dinner. Can make up to five meals
3. Two meals on Wednesday February 19- delivery 6:15-6:30pm & 7:15-7:30pm.

If you want a lower spice level, please let me know (1/2 amount of spices or 1/3 amount of spices).

Price is $45. I accept cash or Venmo.

Hi everyone, I’m offering my next dish, coconut chicken curry for Saturday July 20 and Sunday July 21. Each meal comes with rice and 4 pieces of naan. It feeds a family of 4-6. (I can add an extra order of naan upon request for $5.00).

I’ll be making 5 meals on Saturday July 20 and 5 meals on Sunday July 21 and they can be picked up at my address late afternoon or early evening for dinner.

Please note: This meal contains coconut milk.

Hi everyone, I’m offering my next dish, chicken korma for Saturday June 22 and Sunday June 23. Each meal comes with rice and 4 pieces of naan. It feeds a family of 4-6. (I can add an extra order of naan upon request for $5.00).

I’ll be making 5 meals on Saturday June 22 4 and 5 meals on Sunday June 23. I will not be able to deliver the dishes this time, so you will need to pick them up at my house. You can pick up the meals late afternoon on early evening for dinner.

Please note: This meal has nuts (almonds) in the dish and almonds on top for garnish and coconut milk.

Update on Maya’s Curry in a Hurry:

I will have to push it back for a few weeks because of family stuff but I am still planning to do a dish in June. I’m looking at doing it the weekend of June 22 since the previous weekend is Father’s Day (16).

I want to thank everyone who has ordered Indian food from me for ’s Curry in a Hurry

It means a lot especially the nice messages you have sent me and the reviews you’ve posted on ’s Curry in a Hurry.

Starting next month, I’m hoping to add some days during the week and continue the one weekend a month. This way I can offer more Indian food especially for a week day when you don’t feel like cooking dinner. I will post more information later this month once I get everything figured out.

My next dish for ’s Curry in a Hurry will be butter chicken for next Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and May 5. I will be offering five spots available for each day!

Spent 10 hours prepping and making 8 meals of chicken tikka masala this weekend!

It’s tiring but enjoyable. I love cooking Indian food because it makes me feel closer to my culture and I love being able to provide meals for friends and people in the neighborhood who might not be able to make the dishes but still enjoy Indian food.
