What a year for Boone County PGA Jr. League!⛳

Our fall season is wrapping up this week after our final match on Sunday and one last practice. This year, 300+ junior golfers participated in Boone County Golf programs across our spring, summer, fall and All-Star teams.

This past weekend, our 13u and 17u All Stars team traveled to St. Albans, Missouri to play in the PGA Jr League Regional Championship at the Country Club of St. Albans! Both teams finished 5th and congratulations to Jarrett Turner and Colten Melvin who won the Sunday shootout!

We’re proud of all our players for the time, effort and hard work they put in throughout the year. A big thank you to our coaches, families and everyone who helped make another great year of PGA Jr. League possible.

New to golf? We've got you covered. ⛳

Golf has its own language, but it doesn't have to be confusing.

Swipe through to learn three common terms you'll hear on the course:
Par = the target score for a hole.
Birdie = finishing one stroke under par.
Bogey = finishing one stroke over par.

Whether it's your first round or your 100th, learning the basics can make the game even more enjoyable.

Ready to put your new golf knowledge to the test? Book your next tee time at BooneCountyGolf.com.
