JUNETEENTH‼ Help children understand the importance of freedom and resilience with these powerful picture books about Juneteenth, written by Black authors.
Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas finally learned they were free—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It’s a powerful reminder of the delayed justice many faced and a celebration of Black freedom, resilience, and liberation.

The summer: UMCFood Ministry needs SUMMER HELP ONLY. We are based in Latonia, and these positions will be based in Latonia. Time frame is NOW through August 10, 2025.

1). TRUCK DELIVERY DRIVER (No CDL). Must have experience. 26’ truck. HEAVY loading. Deliver around Northern KY. Must be able to be added to our insurance, so clean driving record. Start 5a $20/hr

2). Delivery DriverRider in FORD TRANSPORT VEHICLE. 2 days a week. $17/hr. (Monday and Tuesday)

3). OFFICE STAFF SUPPORT (work in our office, not a work from home). 20-25 hours a week. $15 - $17/hr.
