Alley Fest is almost here, and we’ll be tattooing all day to celebrate!

Bugpin Tattoo Studio will be open from noon to 10pm, offering linework-only tattoos starting at $50. We will also have a few guest artists joining us to make sure everyone who wants a tattoo gets a chance to sit in the chair.

We’ll also have temporary tattoos available for the kids, so feel free to bring the whole family by while you enjoy everything happening downtown.

No appointments needed ~ just walk in, check out the flash, and get tattooed during one of Flint’s best events of the year. See you in the alley!

Help Support Pauly M. Everett’s upcoming Artist Residency in Greece

My dear friend, Pauly, is heading to Greece for an artist residency soon. We want to make sure he’s fully supported on his journey so he can focus on creating.

A few months back, we hosted an exclusive flash event at the studio featuring tattoo designs inspired directly by Pauly’s artwork. Since we were only able to tattoo a handful of people that night, we’ve decided to reopen the flash designs until he leaves for his trip.

Here’s the deal:
• 50% of each Pauly flash tattoo will go directly to supporting his trip.
• You’ll get to carry a piece of his art forever and be part of making this incredible opportunity happen for him.

I’ve opened up my schedule so you can book on any day I’m available—no need to wait around or take a specific day off work. Just choose a time that works for you, and we’ll make it happen.

Today, we honor Juneteenth.

Bugpin Tattoo Studio is closed today in recognition and respect for this deeply important day in our nation’s history. Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States and is a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for justice and equality.

As a business rooted in the heart of Flint; a city shaped by the strength, creativity, and the culture of its Black community, we stand in solidarity and celebration today.

We encourage everyone to take time to reflect, support Black-owned businesses and artists, and, if you can, join in on the beautiful community celebrations happening throughout the city.

We’ll be back tomorrow, but today, we pause.

• Book ahead - These aren’t walk-in events. Grab your spot through the link below and drop a deposit to lock it in.

• We like to take our time. Each appointment is 1 hr 15 min. We had a double- booking hiccup last time, so we padded the schedule to keep things chill and on time for everyone.
