BIG upgrade happening at RC Excitement!

If you ever raced on the indoor dirt track, you probably remember it was Arctic Tundra in Winter, and a Furnace in the Summer

Well… those days are officially coming to an end!

This week the crane was busy lifting our brand-new HVAC units onto the roof of the new RC Excitement Event Center!

That means REAL HEAT in the winter and AIR CONDITIONING in the summer!

It’s another big step in transforming this space into a comfortable, year-round Event Center for racing, parties, events, and a whole lot more.

We’ve got some exciting things planned for this room, and we can’t wait for you to see it all come together at the Grand Opening September 26th!

The track is back!

The rubber layout is down and open for practice! So far the slick tire are working great and suspension setup seems to be closer to the carpet style! The track will continue to evolve and we will add more jumps and things but so far so good!

The big room project is nearly complete!

We did some exciting testing yesterday with an offroad track, the large drift track and our RC Excitement League inflatable all set up at the SAME time in the arena and seeing the idea come to life is so EXCITING!

We will have more open track time for the off-road and drift track tomorrow for those looking to get back to the tracks and we can’t wait to see what you all think of the new surface!

We're ready... sort of

Indoor Rubber Off Road Track Test & Tune!!!

Wanna try out the new track?

With this being a whole new concept it's time to test it out. Come on in this Thursday to be one of the first to turn some laps, and figure out what works best.

This is the same rubber flooring you'd see at a place like Planet Fitness, so it's all new to RC racing. I will say that with the limited driving we've done so far, the traction is fully there without being too much. Though a taller ride height will likely result in a high side. I believe a set up for racing buggies and trucks will be very similar to carpet, but with the same slicks we had on the dirt. (NO TRACTION COMPOUND NEEDED OR ALLOWED). For RTR's, so far a stock set up seems to be working great.

The layout we'll have down will be a work in progress for testing, as we will be getting more jumps and lane dividers to expand it. It won't be full length yet, but will still be 45' x 75' long, and will go full length for racing soon.

The Drift course will also be down for practice.
