Hi friends! I figured it was probably time to reintroduce myself and put a face behind The Studio! (Even though I really hate being in front of the camera 😂)
I’m Kelly! I’m a mom to four beautiful daughters, a grandma to my two BFFs, and I’ve worked full-time at the University of Illinois for the past 12 years.
I’ve always loved planning family get-togethers, birthdays, and special occasions. I’m usually the one who wants to plan all the little details and make things special, so opening The Studio felt like a fun way to share that love with other people, too!
I love being able to provide a space where people can celebrate birthdays, host showers, get together with friends, or just have a reason to gather.
I also have lots of ideas for things I’d love to do with The Studio in the future! One thing I really want to start doing is hosting workshops where people can come together to craft, make art, learn something new, or just spend time being creative with others.
I’d love to hear from you! If you have an idea for a workshop, are someone who teaches art or crafts, or have something you think would be fun to bring to The Studio, please reach out! I’d love to see what we can come up with together.
