The City of Lakeport is seeking an experienced utilities professional to lead our water and wastewater operations.

This is a unique opportunity to join the City during a planned leadership transition. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the current Utilities Superintendent, gaining valuable operational knowledge before assuming full responsibility.

Salary: $8,247 - $10,024 per month

It is with great sorrow that we have to announce the discontinuation of our Friday night music events moving forward.
Our thought process was to bring quality “out of the area” bands into our venue and give people something different, as opposed to the same bands that can be seen somewhere on any given night.
Unlike the other Lake County music venues that make exorbitant amounts of money selling food and drinks, we have no such revenue stream to offset the cost of the band. We ask for a donation of $10 for members and $15 for non members to recoup the cost of the band. By allowing you to bring your own food and beverages in, that makes for an extremely inexpensive evening all things considered.
This last Friday night we had the Retros, a Fantastic band from the Bay Area that rocked the house with a unique and highly entertaining set list of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s hits. The 20 or so folks that showed up had an amazing intimate evening and the sound production was stellar as usual. Unfortunately we had to pay the band at a loss and being a non profit on limited funds, we can not continue with this endeavor.
Much thanks to those who attended. We are sorry that this didn’t work out. We hope for the continued support of the community for our regular 3rd Tuesday music events. Thanks for you time and consideration ❤️🎶
