I’ve spent a long time trying to figure out what to post here as I know it’s time for me to take some time off. I don’t know what this looks like moving forward. It might mean I need to be done for good as I’m taking care of me and my busy family of 6. It might mean I do an occasional arrangment. It might mean I come back to this in a different season of life. I don’t know…

But for now, for me—post surgery has caused a few complications that require care and limiting stressors. While I love to make beautiful things—sometimes it takes a lot from me to fulfill each week on top of all of the normal to dos in my life with having a big family. Being a florist requires planning, trips to Toledo and other areas for florals, creating arrangements, delivering all over, long weekends with events—lots of preparation work.

At this time—while it’s hard for me to do—I do think it’s what I need to do for me to practice self care and to heal in the ways I need to. I will continue to fulfill the obligations on my current books with joy. And I’ll still post some pretty things but just a bit less.

Thank you for all the business over last few years, for your kindness in the compliments on my work, and your care and support as I heal! 💗
