Today we showcase one of the wedding venues we started out with, Solitude Links Golf Course & Banquet Center

We have since shot two weddings there, both different in contrast, but beautiful nonetheless.

See two real Solitude Links weddings in Kimball, Michigan, and explore this waterfront venue’s best locations for wedding photography and videography.

Amanda & Abala | Backyard Wedding Film | Lambertville, Michigan

Some weddings are special not because of the venue, but because of the people and the story they tell.

Amanda and Abala celebrated their wedding at Amanda's childhood home in Lambertville, Michigan surrounded by family and friends who traveled from both the United States and Kenya to celebrate with them.

It was an honor to capture their story in a way that reflects not only how their wedding looked, but how it felt.

If you're planning a Michigan wedding, whether it's in a backyard, at a venue or anywhere in between we'd love to help tell your story through authentic wedding photography and videography. You can find more of our work on our website: https://www.ezzostudio.com/michigan-weddings

You don’t have to fit the wedding “look” to have a beautiful wedding.

Combat boots under a wedding dress.
A colorful mural instead of a ballroom backdrop.
Quiet moments in an old industrial space in downtown Grand Rapids.

This day felt less like following tradition and more like them.

One minute we were creating dramatic editorial portraits, the next we were catching the in between moments, the smiles, the glances, the little laughs that felt completely unposed.

That’s what we love most about weddings like this: when couples stop worrying about what a wedding is supposed to look like and make it feel like their story instead.

Just a few highlights from this incredibly unique Grand Rapids wedding and trust us, there is so much more to show soon ✨

One thing I’ll always admire about Sharlene’s photography is how instinctive it is.

We had never been to this venue before.

While walking through the space, she noticed the light coming through these windows, the warmth of the room, and how perfectly it matched the atmosphere of the wedding day.

Within minutes, she posed the bride and created this image completely on the fly.

That’s the artistry people don’t always see behind wedding photography.

Not just taking photos.

But recognizing fleeting moments where light, emotion, and environment all align for a second.
